Tracy Howard arrived at Miami with high expectations as the top cornerback prospect in the nation. He didn't have the freshman season many envisioned, but he has improved and gotten stronger.

Interesting to see his long speed this year as he is supposed to run in the outdoor track season. Was an 11.2-100 meter guy in high school FHSAA district Championships.

I thought he improved a bunch towards the end of last year. In our final two games he and Jenkins really impressed me.

Tracy will be taking that next step this year... I hope they give our corners a little more man this year, but that all depends on how our line does... We need to create a pass rush so that we force tough throws and mistake so these corners can make plays... I'm looking for Tracy and Gunter to double their picks this year...

If the dline steps up and the cbs are allowed to play press all year then we will be at least top 50 on defense these guys are that talented

I'm not even worried about Tracy having a disappointing yr last year....he's now been baptized by fire and him and Gunter will be a nice cb duo

I feel the same way. I just want to see how the defense improves with guys who have been in the system 2 and 3 years. Im excited

Got to see him start his first game up here against Duke. He made some mistakes but you can just tell he is going to be a good one. Seeing # 2 and # 3 on the same side at the same time was cool.

Tracy is going to be good money, we need not worry one bit about that. Kid has all the makings of a potential great one. Our secondary really wasn't all that bad last year in my opinion but it had it's problems. You guys hit the nail on the head when speaking on how the D-Line has to create more pressure; that's where the truth is, in the trenches. Love how he understands how weight matters; ask Mathieu if it doesn't lol!
