I hope they don't come out flat like last year against BC. Go out by whopping some azz. I think this is the right move tho, we shouldn't receive any further ban n just have scholly losses.

I think not!! Look at OSU they played in a bowl last year and they sucked rather then a ban. This year they are undefeated and easily could have been in a money bowl!! So who was stupid???

The choice. I understand what giving up the bowl means to the ncaa but like rudy said they should've been said we doing a two year ban. So we wouldn't have to wait I feel bad as hell for golden the staff and these players just Fuck up. Ain't no telling if or when they will be back

I can confirm the bowl ban...got an e-mail this morning from UM Athletics stating decision was made...I was hoping they would wait until after the Duke game but I suspect by forfeiting now, they got input from the NCAA that would be the end of the bowl bans...we are foregoing a shot at the Orange Bowl if we beat Duke and then got revenge on FSWho...so hopefully, us being proactive and making the decision early stops the NCAA from giving us anything more than some lost schollies...

BS - the U is playing nice. Normally, the winner would not have been known until the end of the day on Saturday. We did this for the NCAA and hurt the ACC!
