I just hate if a kid commits to us this early just to sit and wait on an FSU, in this case, or UF offer. Just bugs me. Being commited to The U and wearing FSU sh!t doesnt sit well with me.

If a high school kid change his mind it's no big deal. We want kids that have no doubts about being a Cane!!

That's funny, I remember when he committed to us. There posters were saying he was a low quality back that only had offers from ball state n Boston college. They're probably stirring this up cuz Ryan green is dissing them for Notre dame.

Agreed. If he states the same to one of our staff or InsidetheU then it is legit. Until then let them talk it is FSU ya know.

In the case that he truely does want to go to FSU, do you think he would be proclaiming that to Miami and Miami reporters?? It truly did not come off as "trolling" or else I wouldn't have started the thread in the first place.

I am not trying to shoot holes in your story, but FSU fans/posters have said things before. Obviously nothing is final until these kids put pen to paper, but I do not believe we have much to worry about at this point.

For the d!ck no it all's that think they know everyone and everything and think that something posted on TOS can't be true. This is what I read. And for the record, I was just relaying the info I read on warslant and asking for any info on it, I wasn't saying it was true one way or the other as that would be impossible for me to know. FSU Poster #1:That's surprising, my brother said Alex talks about FSU a lot and wears FSU gear at school. Kid is relentless and a high character kid. Also, 5'11 180 isn't that small. I'm probably biased because he is a Paladin.

Also Mike what's your thoughts on John Franklin? Used to coach him in rec leauge we he played with my brother. Very athletic QB for South.

FSU Poster #2:I'm also a South Grad and have two brothers who go there now. Both know Alex and say the same thing about him saying FSU is where he'd want to go if he had his way, but I know he was also high on Miami according to them.

FSU Poster #1:What year? I was 2003. My brother is a year behind Alex. Says he'd be pretty surprised if Alex went to Miami. Miami was his first big offer and they got on him really early. I really hope we turn up the heat on him. I've seen him live and he is one of the best backs in the state.

FSU Poster #2:I graduated in 97, but I have a little brother graduating this year, and one graduating next year.

Yeah Alex does look like a good back, probably the best prospect we've had since Colin Cole and Cols Colas back in the late 90's. I'd certainly rather have him than play against him, but I get the feeling that our coaches have so many backs ahead of him that there is no way he ends up at FSU. I get the feeling he stays with UM, but I'll ask my little brothers about what they have heard recently also.

FSU Poster #1:I agree, but I don't see too many backs better. Ranked #147 in Rivals 250, #14 overall RB in the nation, 4 star. I was going to say he's the best prospect we have had since Colas.

Imo he's better than every back in Mike's piece with the exception of Green and Bryant. Just hate to see such an elite player go to a rival knowing we could possibly get him.
