21 seniors

I've been hearing that we are the oldest team in the ACC and that after this year we will have a major drop off in wins and that it may be a while before we beat FSU again.
While we do have many seniors on our team, many of them don't play. On offense we lose jacory, benjamin, byrd, miller (draft), and horn. On defence we lose spence, futch, buchanon, A smith, regis, and a couple of dbs. IMO I think offensively would should be alright, defensively we may have some issues.what do you guys think?

Losing Spence is what concerns me right now...and players bolting for the draft as well

Spence graduating is the biggest hit. Lamar is gone no doubt.

Two yrs under Golden will see improvements. Even with some of the departures, we should be fine. I think Steven will play just as good or better than Jacory, and the o line will get stronger under u tough. Defense will miss spence, but I think the dline will improve with some of the injured coming back and guys getting better acclimated to the system. Trust that Golden will make improvements.....

You will see an upgrade at QB next year in terms of big plays from either Morris or Williams. Buchanon will more than likely be given a medical red shirt.
I truly see us competing for an ACC title next year.

I agree. Doesn't matter how many seniors you lose when you are 5-5. Many of those seniors lost their jobs to younger guys anyway. Byrd, Smith, Ford, Figs, Futch (until Buchanan's injury). Then add in guys like Williams, Whipple, Regis and Chambers and you can't tell me we will miss those guys. Jacory, Spence, Gunn, Horn, Jojo, and MRob at times are the only seniors that have played well this year. The rest of is lot of garbage being taken out which is a good thing in my eyes. And the only guy I look and say damn we are in trouble without him is Spence

Its gonna be a breath of fresh air when these guys leave. We will win next year. I know for a fact we will be better than this yr. This freshmen class was good, hungry and more aggressive. Im not overly concerned about our 21 seniors leavin, because this young group of players will be better..

Yes, losing Spence will be hard but I see ALOT in DENZEL PERRYMAN! This guy is definitely one of the next GREAT LINEBACKERS at the U! I feel that Morris is going to be just fine. He will be pushed by Williams but I am confident in Jed Fisch based off how he has turned Jacory into a pretty consistant QB. Yes, he threw a pick against FSU but Streeter could have given a little better effort too. I know, it was underthrown but even Arron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning make some bad throws but they are depending on the other guy to make a play. I think our secondary will be young from an experience stand point but I think they will be more aggressive and better cover guys than what we have now. D-Line is where I am concerned. DEPTH is what we need. I still think we are better off and will continue to improve with this coaching staff.

I agree with almost everyone else on this thread that missing Spence will be hard and in some way, I will miss Harris too! I just wish that this coaching staff was here with him when he first stepped foot on campus!

Tommy should stay, he'd be able to showcase his speed more with Morris throwing the deep ball than he can this year with Jacory not having the strongest arm

Streeter stays, he has good size and speed but no where to close to being where he needs to be for the NFL CB's, they would eat him alive right now. After another yr to physically and mentally mature, he will be a beast.

I agree that all or most of the Juniors don't seem ready for the NFL including Streeter...I still think miller will leave because next years RBs that are eligible are better depth rise...like Dyer and Lattimore
