Bowl ban this year and already taking 5 schollys from this year class....genius move by golden...NCAA will have nothn 2 punish us for cuz we already punished ourselves....I say maybe 2 years of 5 less schollys n no bowl ban cuz we give up 3 bowls in 2 years if we best Duke....

Call me a douche but if I was a senior on this team I would tell golden to enjoy playing at Duke without me. The entire senior class should do that because they have basically been told they are meaningless to the program by this administration. I totally agree with Ryan Hill and the other former players who have voiced their displeasure. Last year was different. Many of those players were involved in the stuff and the team was definitely going to lose one bowl game, but to offer a second is a disgrace in my opinion. Mike James should grab all his seniors and tell the staff and administration to go to hell and let them play without them.

That will teach Golden... since it was his call and all.
That would always be a great way to end your football career (for some) and a nice way for your teammates/brothers to remember them by. Lets hope Mike James & co. doesn't act like 10 year olds & take their ball and go home... so to speak. Dumb.

Theirs and your anger is misplaced. They should go find all the guys who accepted the benefits and beat their azz for taking away their last bowl opportunity. Not blame the admin for doing what's right.

And to be fair, they are meaningless. With the exception of a select few, most notably mike James. I'm with jimmy johnson... Ur either a favorite or just another guy. The upperclassmen are full of the latter.
