I'm sure he's good but I just don't like going out of state for running backs. Don't trust their comp compared to florida, and I like the backs produced down here more anyway.

Collins, Green, Bryant are my and most likely the Canes' top 3 of who is better and want to have. But decommitting speaks a lot and Green is a physical specimen. Remember guys Duke is starting, and he is fast, elusive, and elite speed + he is already backed up by 2 scat backs, Miami needs a downhill Mike James type back for next year, and That's why I think Derrick Green is the guy for this

You guys gotta stop with the florida is all that mantra. Florida comp is great, but other schools, that are winning, are building their programs out of Florida. Williams competition is fine. Eastern Pa has good RBs. As far as the list goes Derrick Green is better than Collins and Williams.

True!!! I like this kid and he is better than Alex Collins. If we can either land him or Green that would be a better pick up than Collins

Amen. When it come to RBs, we should never leave the state, unless it's for a Special Player (ex. A.Peterson).
Forget the stars!
Florida competition is better and the individual athletes are better!

I feel like Collins' ranking is warranted and I do feel like Florida competition is great, but let's be honest. Florida is not the only state playing football. California. Texas. Pennsylvania. Even Virginia produce great players year in and year out. And all this "Only if its adrian peterson" talk.. crazy. I haven't seen another Adrian Peterson since Adrian Peterson, but there are plenty of great backs and other players to keep an eye on.

Agreed...... but watch the 2 minute clip I just posted. He's out running 5'6 165 lb suburban kids who run 5.2 40's. He still might be the real deal but his competition is beyond pathetic.

I am not saying other states don't produce RBs. What I am saying is this: We (Florida) produce so many Quality and Tested RBs that there is never a need to go outside the state.
State of Miami really applies to RBs!!!!
All of UM's Great RBs were born and raised in Good Ole FLA! Starting with My Man Otis!!!!!

Honestly we don't need a running back this year. We have Clements,Crawford, Dilliard and DUKE. You have the 2 backs from Central High school(Both Elite) coming out next year and Tim Irvin (2nd coming of DUKE) comes out the following year.
