Hopefully he decides to continue the legacy.
Is there a reason why he isn't ranked? I know he comes from a small school and people miss kids from such schools, but he's the son of the greatest NFL LB to ever play the game! It'd be nice to have some sort of scale to compare him to other players of this class.

You kinda gotta recruit this kid even if he wasn't that good. Right? I mean, Ray Lewis' son. The kid get a scholly solely for his last name and because his father came here. Even more of a plus if this kid could really help us out.

No way. This is a business. Nobody is owed ANYTHING. I said the same thing regarding the recruitment of Chad Kelly. We're in this to win championships, not the good graces of Ray Lewis.

I saw the article on him early this year. He goes to a small school and is small for our standards but, you can better believe he has heart. He knows he has to live up to alot and I can see him as a very hard player. We'll just see how it goes.

Ray Lew was a running back in high school and very small. And yes he should get a scholly regardless even if he was terrible, but he's pretty good for a junior. He should hit another growth bomb soon.

I'd say that nephews are different than sons. And if Chad Kelly had Ray Lewis III's character and personality, he'd be inking with the U this February.

Everybody keeps saying he's small, but he's the same exact size as Duke Johnson. He's averaging 13 yards per carry against small schools, he'd probably average 6 or 7 against 6A competition(which is Good). Anybody have any film on him?

Also, keep this in mind. Ray Lewis's NFL career will be winding down in the next few years... and he would be a tailor made coach at the college level. I don't know about you, but I would be ecstatic to have him join the coaching staff and roam the sidelines on gameday.
Not taking anything away from Ray III, because he garners a scholarship on his on merits, but that package would excite any Miami fan who knows an ounce of Cane history.

2 great points here so far #1 this kid needs to be a cane even if he isnt the best in the nation and #2 Ray Lewis being a linebackers coach for the []_[] would be a dream come true. Did anyone see the NFL films show about his own personal coaching Tree??? Del Rio, Mike Smith, Harbaugh, Singletary, Ryan, several guys that have worked with him went on to be head coaches coincidence i dont think so

I haven't seen film CENTRAL but, I have heard the kid is U TOUGH. I know Duke is about that size but look at what he accomplished vs the best in the State. Ray needs to move him down to Miami this year so he can join a school -STA- MIRAMAR -DWYER- MNW and show what he can do vs teams of this staute. Plus he would be close to the "U" and would have alot more accses to the school and get that Orange and Green running through him again. Has been years since RAY has played here and although the kid growed up hearing about the Canes, it's not the same asa his dad say's- THE U FAMILY IS A FRATERNITY LIKE NO OTHER"!!
That says it all!!!

I meant to add that too MJH- Killer Point. When you have RAY there on game day's or if he becomes a coach for the "U"- There is no better person to light a fire under our kids than the Original Head Hunter!!!
