DT Porter Working His Way Back

Getting Porter back makes the whole defense a couple of levels better. No reason not to be aggressive now. Perhaps the DBs will tighten up the coverage too. Getting excited again.

We can be so much better next year with him being healthy and Pierre stepping up. We'll have experience everywhere and really be rolling with it...

I have to admit, I wish we would have went for another Medical RS although I know he's already had 1 but, it's done a lot. But having him in there for this stretch is gonna be huge I mean, just look at what he did his 1st game back. He was pushing his man & making some disruption in the backfield which we have been missing a lot around here. But with him in, it should give Coach D a weapon to game plan with and disguise new blitzes with our newly found weapon in EJ. He is quick & can get back there quick & if Porter draws Double teams then, our other guy's will be 1 on 1 & we just simply have to beat our man & get some pressure back there. When we are able to get pressure, good things happen with this D & we will need that big time Sat vs UVA with a newly found spirit. We know that UVA is already physical as they proved that to us last year & nothing they would love more is to play spoiler for us. So we are gonna have to man up & just get after it & I do admit-glad to have Porter back as he made an immediate impact. Sure do wish we could have him for 2 more years though.
